Hi, I'm Aytaç
Driving instructor in The Hague with 17+ years of experience — and just as driven as on day one.
My story
Not planned —
but exactly right
I didn't plan to become a driving instructor. I grew into it. Looking back, I think it's because I always had the drive to do things better than they were being done — and in driving education, there was plenty of room for that.
What I noticed early on is that most people don't fail because they lack talent. They fail because of unclear instruction — too much information at once, or an instructor who forgets what it feels like to be behind the wheel for the first time.
That's what I do differently. I keep it clear, keep it calm, and I actually look at the person next to me — not just at how they drive, but at how they learn.
I have Turkish roots and have lived and worked in The Hague my whole life. That means I know the city, the roads, and the people. Whether you live in Voorburg, Delft or Leidschendam — I know the route.
I teach in English, Dutch and Turkish — not because it looks good on a flyer, but because I can genuinely explain what I mean in all three languages. No translation stress, no misunderstandings — just clear driving instruction.
How I work
Clear, calm
and at your pace
Intake — what do you need?
I always start with a short conversation. What's your experience? What makes you nervous? Where do you want to get to? That tells me exactly how to tailor the lessons to you.
Clear instruction — no jargon
I explain everything in plain language, step by step, without overloading you with information. If something isn't clear, I say it differently until it clicks.
Pick-up at your door
I come to you. No need to find your way to a driving school — just step outside and we start. Pick-up and drop-off included throughout the area.
Honest progress
After every lesson you know exactly where you stand. No vague feedback, no unnecessary lessons. I'm honest about what you still need to pass.
🏆 A story I'm proud of
I once guided a student who had failed 13 times in 3 years — and also had a serious fear of motorways. Together we worked on his confidence and skills, step by step. We eventually drove to a CBR exam location that had no motorway involved. He passed. It shows that with the right guidance, anything is possible.
