Can I use my foreign driving licence in the Netherlands?
It depends on where your licence is from. EU licences are valid. Non-EU licences (US, UK, India, etc.) are only valid for a limited time. After that, you need a Dutch licence. I can advise you exactly what applies to your situation.
How many lessons do I need as an expat with driving experience?
Most expats with prior driving experience need between 5 and 15 lessons to adapt to Dutch roads and traffic rules. I always start with a personal intake to assess your level — no unnecessary lessons.
Is the Dutch driving exam in Dutch?
The practical exam itself is done in silence — the examiner gives directions which I prepare you for. The theory exam is available in English online, so that's no barrier.
